Kevin Windsor
Vice President and TreasurerKevin began working in the Museum field in 1996 and has worked in costumed interpretation, collections management, exhibits, education, and finance. In 2002 he accepted the position of Curator at the Lundy’s Lane Historical Museum and helped rebrand the Museum to become the “City of Niagara Falls Museums” which managed all three city Museums. This included a $12m expansion to the Lundy’s Lane site, as well as being on the International Historic Sites Bicentennial Committee to commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812. In 2012, Kevin accepted the position of Curator at the National Air Force Museum of Canada, and in 2018 accepted the position of Executive Director. Kevin has been a member of OMMC since 2012, served as a member of the Education Committee, and has been treasurer since 2023.
Kevin brings his experience in dealing with NPF Finances and Policies to OMMC to help out some of the member Museums navigate the policies of the NPF. As well as helping other non-CAF Museums with advice and best practices on business development, sponsorship, collections management, displays, and help with general Canadian military history.
